Firefly gave a sheepish grin back and turned back to the carcass, he tore a bit of leg off it and carried it proudly over to the edge of the clearing where he began to chew it like a dog with a bone.

Larka returned to the elk and munched away hungrily.

Sienna looked at Iolas. "Hey," she said flatly, turning her gaze to the ground, then looking swiftly and directly at him. She shuffled her feet awkwardly and looked away.

Firefly finished the meat on the bone and began to toss it in the air and catch it again, he ran around with it in his mouth, wanting the play.

Iolas smiled ressuringly. "Hunting was good." He said awkwardly.

Firefly dropped his bone and whined, he walked over to a shady patch and lay down to sleep

Firefly woke up and padded over to the carcass, he wasn't hungry, just bored.
He padded over to Larka "Hey" he said

Larka smiled remembering. "The Horizon pack, in the mountains to the east." She looked at Firefly curiously. "Where did you come from?"

Firefly hesitated and frowned
"Um, it was called Sagedell pack..." he trailed off, his departure had been a painful one and he prefered not to discuss in detail

He nodded, then ran to pick up his bone, he waved it around and tossed it high in the air "Catch!" he said

Larka grinned and jumped up catching the bone in her jaws. She landed back on her paws softly and tilted her head at Firefly.

Larka grinned in return and dropped the bone beside them. "Nice bone." She said laughing and nudged him back.
