The Main Clearing

The clearing is in the centre of the forest. It is where lone wolves can come to join a pack or find a mate. It is a great meeting place, and is in the centre of all the territories. Are you looking for a pack? This is a great place to find one. Gatherings can held here. It is surrounded by many tall trees and is usually quite bright, as the sun shines through the treetops, onto the forest floor below.

Sienna walked into the clearing, studying the area carefully. She stepped inside, glancing around. She had been wanting to join a pack, or create one, for some time now, however her successes hadn't been great. She was a lone wolf, and had been for an age, after her pack was destroyed by humans. It had been terrible, but she decided not to think about it, it made matters worse. She exhaled heavily, and quite loudly, trying to make herself known amongst the forest. "Is anyone here?" she asked, scanning her bright cyan eyes through the trees, for any potential wolves. She sat down, her white pelt gently flowing in the minute breeze that drifted by every now and then.

Ice wandered into the clearing, peering around a tall archaic oak. He scanned the area and saw a small, dainty white wolf, with bright cerulean eyes. He decided to keep quiet and waited patiently for any other lone wolves that would approach him.

Bramblefrost padded into the clearing, ears flattened against her head and her tongue flicking nervously, she could smell another wolf near and was ready to run if needed, she raised her head slightly to see a white pelted she wolf sitting in the clearing. Bramblefrost let out a small whine as she saw that Sienna would win quite easily in a fight. Keeping herself close to the ground she approached Sienna apprehensively. She hadn't thought finding a mate would be so hard as this, her fruitless efforts had put her down and although she knew quite well she couldn't she felt the urge to run back to the pack she had left. Feel the comfort of her pack mates as they played together in the cold breeze that was character of her territory. As she reached Sienna she waited for the response, hoping for friendship but expecting hostility.

Sienna glanced at another wolf, Bramblefrost. The small wolf approached her, and she tried to find something she could say. "Hello," was all that she could manage. She wasn't good with strangers, but uttered the words quite loudly, and exhaled, as silently as she could. She sat down, watching the leaves blow gently in the spring breeze.

Ice approached the females, looking at the ground and sighing. "Hello," he said, partly imitating the white she-wolf that had said the same. He flattened his ears slightly nervously, he wasn't like usually this, but was hoping to find a mate and start a pack. He thought Bramblefrost looked quite pretty and turned to her, timidly sighing.

Bramblefrost straightened up slightly, not sure but less nervous than before. Eventually when she smelt that they meant no harm she rose up to her normal height and moved forward. She licked Sienna and Ices muzzles in greeting "Hello" she said with a twitch of an ear, her eyes relaxed and she gave a small wolfy grin.

Snow padded to the clearing, freezeing when she saw the other wolves. A sight growl rose from her, unsure of the others. Her saphire blue eyes stayed locked on the other wolves.

Shadow Padded to the clearing as well, wagging his tail when he saw the other wolves. He walked up to them, curiously.

Bramblefrost tensed at the scent of other wolves. She turned quickly and saw Shadow. Noting his relaxed posture she calmed and let her ears fold back down into a normal position. She lay down, panting as the sun was warm and soothing. "Hello" she said casually to Shadow

Ice nodded respectfully. He glanced around and saw two other wolves approaching. He stepped back and waited for someone to speak, he wasn't good with strangers. He sighed and mumbled something. Knowing it was quiet, he looked up. "I'm Ice," he spoke a little louder.

Sienna lifted her muzzle and surveyed the area. "Nice to meet you all," she said confidently, "My name is Sienna." She looked at her white paw, which shimmered slightly in the dappled sunlight. As did the rest of her pelt.

Shadow " Hello"He said, looking at the two she-wolves. " I'm Shadow " he said, sitting down as well.
Snow was still unsure of the other wolves, not movig much. She stayed in the shadows, where the sunlight didn't catch her pelt. You could only see her saphire eyes and the white parts of her. Her paws, and ear seemed to disappear in teh shadows.

Sienna gave a welcoming glance to Shadow. Sitting relaxed in her former position. She scanned the area and saw parts of another Faye, hiding in the shadows. She decided not to greet this wolf, as it seemed that she was quite timid. She exhaled and looked at the others. "So, why have you all come here? I've come here to find a mate and start a pack, or join one that already exists."

(I have to go for 10-20 minutes.)

Shadow
He looked at Sienna, " the same reasons you have come then" he said, sitting down as well. He looked around the clearing before turning his attention back to the she wolves.

Snow finally decided to come out of the shadows. The other wolvesdidn't seem threatening...so there was no point at staying hidden. Her pelt sparkled when she stepped out into the sun.

(I'm back.)

Sienna nodded. She turned her attention to the other wolves, wondered what they were going to say.

Ice exhaled. "I have come for the same reason as you," he explained carefully. He looked at the other she-wolf who came out of the shadows.

Shadow nodded, turning his attention to the new she-wolf as well.

Snow looked the other wolves for a ssecond before speaking. " I'm snow, came for the same reasons.." She said, her ears now percked up in curiousity.

Ice nodded to Snow, dipping his head respectfully. He sat down and wondered what to say to start a more interesting conversation. He tended and exhaled, sighing awkwardly, and looked at the other wolves in interest.

Shadow looked around at the females, wondering what to do know. " I guess we could start a pack..." He said, trying to get the conversation going.

Snow looked at Ice, then at Shadow when he spoke up. She still stood up, unsure of what to say.

Duane walked into the clearing and looked around at the other wolves. Smiling to himself he walked over to them.

Snow's ears percked up in curiousity as a new wolf came into sight. She was still unsure though, keeping her eyes on him.

Shadow looked at Duane as he came into sight.

Duane looked from one wolf to the other and stopped near them. "Hi."

Sienna glanced at Duane. "Hello," she said, greeting him, and hoping he wasn't a threat. "Have you come here for the same reasons as us?" She looked at him, her bright cyan eyes shimmering.

Bramble looked around at the array of wolves that had gathered, she felt slightly uncomfortable but still stood tall "Everyone has came here for those reasons then..." she shifted slightly, the silver and tan fur on her back glimmering and swaying

Firefly looked from the trees at the group of wolves, he could tell that they weren't a pack and that this was no territory, agitated by the amount that were there he hung back peering from behind a towering oak

Duane nodded his head at Sienna. "If you are all here for the lame reason as me, to find a pack or a mate." He smiled.

Shadow looked at the wolves, " yeah, guess were all here for the same reason then ", he said. A few wolves actually seemed to be gathering here.

Snow's ears flattened as she smelt the scent of another wolf. After a second they percked back up in curiousity though.

Sienna returned the smile. She looked down. "So...." she said, unsure of how to begin a conversation.
